Before there was Batman, Iron Man, or even Superman, God has always used ordinary men and women in extraordinary ways.

The biggest difference?
Who receives the glory, credit, and recognition in the end.
In modern superhero stories, the average person becomes someone everyone comes to need and depend on. With that dependency comes great admiration, praise, and gratitude directed at the individual.
But in the Bible, we see something very different. There are incredible, supernatural feats performed by regular everyday people like Joshua, David, Esther and more — with one major caveat:
The glory and honor always belonged to GOD!
And that hasn’t changed.
God still desires to make you a superhero in His Kingdom.
However, it requires humility, complete surrender, and a heart that ensures before, during, and after — HE alone receives the glory.
The God who puts the SUPER in His heroes.
So how do you become a superhero for the Kingdom of God?
• Humility
• Availability
• Obedience to His instructions
• Trust and belief that His strength is made perfect in our weakness
What gifts has God placed in you?
What calling has He been drawing you into — but fear has kept you from stepping forward?
NOW is your time.
Be bold.
Be courageous.
Move without fear.
God is calling you to be Super through His power, not your own.
Some Ordinary People who did the Extraordinary:
- King David – From Shepherd to King: David was the youngest and seemingly least qualified of his brothers, yet God chose him based on his heart rather than outward appearance.1 Samuel 16:7, 11-13, 2 Samuel 5:10
- Queen Esther – From Orphan to Deliverer: An adopted orphan and member of an exiled minority, Esther was elevated to a royal position specifically to save her people. Esther 4:14, Esther 4:16
- Noah – From Ordinary Man to World-Preserver: Noah was an ordinary man in a corrupt age who was empowered by God’s grace to build a massive vessel for salvation. Genesis 6:8-9, Genesis 6:22
So what’s He calling YOU to do?
Be bold. Be available. Trust Him.
